Create a function
import pandas as pd def print_without_index(df: pd.DataFrame): blank_index = [""] * len(df) original_index = df.index df.index = blank_index print(df) df.index = original_index
Use it as follows:
In [2]: row1 = (123, "2014-07-08 00:09:00", 1411) row2 = (123, "2014-07-08 00:49:00", 1041) row3 = (123, "2014-07-08 00:09:00", 1411) data = [row1, row2, row3] df = pd.DataFrame(data, columns=("User ID", "Enter Time", "Activity Number")) df Out[2]: User ID Enter Time Activity Number 0 123 2014-07-08 00:09:00 1411 1 123 2014-07-08 00:49:00 1041 2 123 2014-07-08 00:09:00 1411 In [3]: print_without_index(df) User ID Enter Time Activity Number 123 2014-07-08 00:09:00 1411 123 2014-07-08 00:49:00 1041 123 2014-07-08 00:09:00 1411
Verify that the original index remains unchanged
In [5]: df Out[5]: User ID Enter Time Activity Number 0 123 2014-07-08 00:09:00 1411 1 123 2014-07-08 00:49:00 1041 2 123 2014-07-08 00:09:00 1411
Tested with python 3.10.9, ipython 8.8.0, pandas 1.5.2
