The dealer would have done lot of unnecessary stuff but they only did whatever is necessary. For $300 they replaced air filter, cabin filter, rear brake pads, and changed oil. That includes labor as well.
-  * [2022-10]: I decided not to go here anymore. When they did oil change before, they used conventional oil instead of synthetic. They said conventional oil is fine for my car (2014 Subaru Forester). But as per the service manual, they should use synthetic oil whenever possible. The conventional oil is to be used only if synthetic oil is not available and as a one-off. If they could not get this little detail correct, I can't be sure how good their repairs were in other cases.
